Mossgiel Posted December 29, 2015 Report Posted December 29, 2015 All on lock down from September until middle of March, not ideal but at least they are safe from b.o.p.

Roland Posted December 30, 2015 Report Posted December 30, 2015 If was mainly interested in sprints to middle, then locked down. If main interested is the distance, and hard days, then out every day.
Walter swanston Posted December 30, 2015 Report Posted December 30, 2015 All birds out every single day
geordie1234 Posted December 30, 2015 Report Posted December 30, 2015 Unfortunately for me in the winter I only see the doos really in the dark Except a Sunday so if the weather is ok I'll stick the cocks oot or the hens but your lucky if they get out twice over the winter each
Roland Posted December 30, 2015 Report Posted December 30, 2015 All birds out every single day Seems we agree again Walter. Though today I left them in the aviary. Winds strong, and only Ferals having the odd circles. Nothing else being blown about.
alex young Posted December 31, 2015 Report Posted December 31, 2015 Kept them in through the moult but they have been out daily since the 1st Dec.The cocks flying about 30 mins the hens about 45,I'll keep this up until I pair them then they stay in until they lay.
walterboswell59 Posted December 31, 2015 Report Posted December 31, 2015 birds out everyday except very high winds as i have a few wires about flying a good hour everyday
lanarkshire lad Posted December 31, 2015 Report Posted December 31, 2015 Exercise can only be good for any living thing so mine are out as often as possible but called in as soon as they land.
