Just wondering how far your loft is from your house

I consider myself lucky

From my house door to my loft door is only 14 feet

Was going to state the disadvantages but there are none :drinking-coffee-200:

all lofts are within 30 to 40 feet of house, have fitted hose stands at them all, feed shed is about 40 feet away and they all have feed bins inside them,so watering, feeding are as easy as it gets :drinking-coffee-200:

Racing loft 15ft ,stock in garage 10ft from back door but the distance birds are upstairs in garage and hate having to take the water up there as I,m getting a bit old for the steps lol so don't change it every day as I do others but all my results come from up there so canny be doing them any harm .

My dream would be one big 50ft loft .

3miles away it's a pain in the *expletive removed* especially during the season up and doon about 3 sometimes 4 times a day

You guys are the tops having to travel to and fro to lofts in this crap weather I take my hat off to you (don,t were one but you know what I mean )

If I fell out my back door i would fall into the loft (done so on many occasions) mostly on the weekend (too mutch buckfast) anyway the downside is the summer months (flies) and the constant calling of the birds that doesn't bother me but the wife hates it I've told her if it bothers her that mutch she can go to her sisters :emoticon-0136-giggle: :emoticon-0136-giggle:

About 40yds. to my three lofts but all inside a part open barn so all dry when I get there

Three lofts within a big loft sounds good. Plenty fresh air in the part open barn, but protected from the direct wind. :)

Really good Andy, would seem strange having lofts outside in the rain now

Used to be 30 feet, then 7 miles for a couple of years. No a few hundred metres but when new house is finished will be at the bottom of the garden 😀
