Who has started exercising old birds as the season is always here, how's it all going?

Me personally have started and got my team of 36 widowhood cocks flying half hour a day

birds have been out the last 3 weeks but now been put on hold for a few days as ive just had a hernia operation yesterday, local anaesthetic, so got to take things easy for a few days, (never taken as many pain killers)

Never been locked up this year luckily. they were on open hole for quite a while, then I started outing them once daily; this has been reduced to the occasional because the BOP have became active again and the weather combined with wires limits their outings. They were doing 2 hours, but are now back to nearer 1 to 1.5 hours, so still very happy. :)

Still early yet for working the birds, mine are still confined to the loft most days due work commitments and poor weather. :animatedpigeons:

Been out all winter although they are stopping in more now due to sitting on eggs .Dont want love stuck birds on the roof !!One thing iv noticed is they are very sharp on the move if sparrow hawk is any where near. They read the signs of wild birds. It's got to be good for them :)
