JohnQuinn Posted August 15, 2016 Report Posted August 15, 2016 After the weekends racing and the reports of thousands of birds not making it home you would think numbers would be plastered all over the site. Only 7 numbers have been posted up since Saturday so where are all the others 👀 👀

Only 7 numbers have been posted up since Saturday so where are all the others 👀 👀 Your right John, 10,000s missing right across the UK, I ve heard of many lofts in the N East shutting up for the season because of the losses. I know percy contributes to a lot of this but im sure their is something else. Maybe a government security thing? I also wish folk would tell the truth about their returns, nobody seems to lose many but when it comes to the last race or the yb nat they don't send??? Mirror job for the lot of them. Ive still 20/31 from Glasgow, 9/12 Almond valley ( I notice 2 hawked after inspection )I seem to be alone with the poor returns OR am I just too f kin honest.

andy Burgess Posted August 15, 2016 Report Posted August 15, 2016 lost 10 here ...... so far . all home first week . dropped 3 at 2nd week. dropped 4 at third race . dropped 3 last week . those that are home , 5 of them will not race again "this season" due to hawk attacks (injuries)
Kojak Posted August 15, 2016 Report Posted August 15, 2016 Dropped six last week at slaughterburn and seven this week at sedgefield, one returned on Sunday plus one from previous week, one of the lads was talking to transporter driver, said weather was fine, just a light shower on road home.I only keep a small team and between losing them from carnwath in training and losing them racing ,like some of the others, will have to think about next year.
Bobby4 Posted August 15, 2016 Report Posted August 15, 2016 Lost 5 1st race 5 nd race 4 3rd race an 4 on saturday at sedgfield .5 in the shed all been hawked won't race this year and theyr the lucky ones
b.massey Posted August 15, 2016 Report Posted August 15, 2016 Been cleaned out with young birds with a fly away then racing Also at least one home per race with signs of hawk injuries Only sending 6-10 and every race a bird with signs so bigger teams must be 2/3 birds per race home with flights missing or injured! That's the ones escaped! Every hawk will nail 1 pigeon a day on Saturdays minimum so that's a fair few thousand a day Saturday past we are 3/5 and again one of the 3 injured
