A couple of us are thinking of running a yb Xmas race flown in December from Dunbar. It would be open to anybody flying in excess of 45 miles. Five bird limit at £10 a pigeon. All monies would be paid out minus 10% for expenses . Separate pools etc. This wee venture is for the benefit of the fanciers who just love racing and would like to extend the racing season lol. Whats yer thoughts?

Im afraid its a race from Dunbar lads, everybody gets fairer measurements as the convoy is coming straight from east to west. We ve not decided whether only yb or not.

Maybe take young bird trainers aswell at a cost as a lot of guys like my self are basically starting out again or didn't race young birds due to replenishing the birds lost in a $hit season :)

Sorry big fella, no trainers in this wan, if it goes the way I think it will go there will be too much at stake to have trainers etc on board.

A lot of thinking to be done with this wee venture, but im sure we can pull together a cracking race and bit of enjoyment for all. Big Tommy was shocked to hear that he is flying almost the same distance as me as he thought id have 9 miles off him. Dunbar is the fairest race point east to west, no obvious advantage to anyone lads, lets get involved and look forward to a wee race at XMAS time.
