ive 40/57 now but some top pigeons to come, had 3 in last 5 minutes. What a f kin disaster from under 100 miles :emoticon-0179-headbang:

It's dejaviu, we had 71/71 at Dunbar with young birds last year and lost 20 at otterburn the following week, we have 31/39, we were half way at the clocks, even if we get all them home it is still a bad race, I wasn't a t the AGM, but why are the majority hellbent on going to a race point that has more bad than good races and has cost the fed more losses than any other race point, if I remember it was proposed to go from Dunbar to Alnwick then Aycliff, this for me would be a more logical program, but we go back to Slaughterburn again.

We choose to send, but Aycliff is no picnic either.

percy at work no dout guys just got a wee hen that scored in the inland national and was my timer in clermont last year been hiding i think still one to come will but only get worse as we go out imo

Otterburn must be full of Perigrines, as every time we fly their we have a bad race, I think it's a bad race point and swinging from Dunbar to Otterburn has proven time and time agian to not work.

For me the convoy gets split at the race point and some home correctly and the rest go the wrong way and have to dogleg home, and lot's don't make it.

Another two home 33/39

Good , keep them coming.

It's the same every time we go to Otterburn, last week we were at Dunbar, where was Lanarkshire last week, that might help answer the question?

Na, they are old pigeons, doesn't matter what direction they are coming from, they should scoot home from that distance.

I agree, there is no logic to it, but it is a fact Lanarkshire get a good race and we always get Slaughterburn, and we keep going back.

I hope Aycliff is a good race.

Went with Midland to Appleby 113 mls with 26 Cocks and waiting on 6. Birds not fit with no basket training due to weather but what can you do ?? and we are all in the same boat.. Otterburn last week with 25 Hens and all home so its not the race point thats the problem, OMO.

It's been the same for years most are loused by 200miles flying in winter conditions and erratic races, come June and July when we all should be enjoying the racing, all they have is the young birds to look forward to, we have been sending some birds to each race, but they have to go at some point and we knew this was going to be a lottery for returns, but if not this week the risk would be next week at 150 miles.

Remember last week we were all happy with 100% returns, but David said wait until next week.

And we still have birds to blood next week.

Somebodies birds were gan the wrong way from appleby.........or at least a way that was foreign to them
