I would think so.

Went on a safari a while back in a very large enclosure and we could not locate the lions.

There were 4 or 5 trucks looking with no joy.

The ranger was concerned and called for the feed truck, as soon as this blue truck entered the enclosure the lions appeared from the undergrowth and ran after it.

There was no food on it, they just knew what the blue one meant.

surely percy are going to recognise what a truck in a field means, They will also be able to hear the birds on board

Out of curiosity, How many transporters carry rockets to discharge prior to liberation ??. To my mind it should be a compulsory part of liberation and bugger the expense.

Or 5 baskets of unrung pigeons to be libbed in any weather as a wee treat for the BOP

Should be compulsory

Lanarkshire use them, or at least they did. 99p per rocket isn't much expense, 2 set off every liberation would be less than £40 a season.

we are the intelligent ones eh! Supposedly!

Yet week in and week out the same lib sites are used.

At the meetings to discuss the race program, discussed in length. 80% agree it is a stupid place to lib, and feed Percy and Co ... and then vote the same lib points in.

No wonder the RSPB laugh and say 'You can't be serious ... Why you send there every week' Lol)! REASON?! afraid OF LOSING advantage and not the birds

Maybe after other sites have liberated, earlier, they could pull their transporter in and act as decoys lol.

Don't know about the West side and Percy sites in Scotland - Agreed they are every where ... But surely in this day and age with all the mod communications, a realistic strategy of alternative sites and coasts could, and should, be put into effect!

Here's a true story, happened some time ago when we were training through the Lakes.Took two baskets of YB's out of the car and placed them ready for liberation facing over Thirlmere, got a ice cream for my late mother and myself and gave the birds time to settle.Along came another fancier unloaded two baskets and was about to lib.after a few choice words he liberated has he said he was in a hurry, some hadn't got two foot and bang a hen percy,I had a good toss, don't think he had. :emoticon-0138-thinking: :emoticon-0138-thinking: I must admit the ice cream was good. :emoticon-0127-lipssealed: :emoticon-0127-lipssealed:
