I agree with this. You've only to look at the Roye result this season where a pigeon records 26th open, a very commendable performance, but no section position!!

I would say around 5 old birds per year returning injured by BOP. I have had quite a few experienced pigeons going missing from 170 mile races over the last few seasons. Most of these I would say have been taken by BOP.
What an amount of fieldfares I've seen today. Don't ever recall seeing so many any other year ?? Maybe the east wind or the bad weather has made them change from their normal route ??
