I had an old hen attacked this morning in front of the loft. Fortunately, I saw it and got there in time before the pigeon was killed. The hen has some feathers missing and is bleeding slightly from a small cut in her neck.
  6. There is to be a report on BBC news this morning at around 8.20 about this bird.
  7. Get well soon.
  8. Well done William.
  9. I think the loft was on land at Roslin Research Institute, where Tam Cherrie worked. Not sure if he changed jobs and had no place to move the lofts to ?? Tam left the sport. Dave Gunn continued on his own, at a different location for a few more years before he too packed up. They had some excellent performances in the late 80's, early 90's from channel races - Mountmarle Prince & Red Ruby did some winning.

  14. It is with great sadness that I report the passing of Bert McDonald, gone far too young at just 67 years old. Bert was a member of Dundee & District flying club for many years. He was an absolute gentleman and a tremendous worker for the club, and would go out of his way to help wherever he could. Rest in peace Bert. Condolences to the family. Liz & Brian Donnelly.
