I would just like to inform the Fancy of the passing of my old friend and mentor Mike Donnachie of Kingseat, Fife. Mike passed away this morning in a care home where he has been this last two year. Will miss the long summer nights waiting on national doos and the friendly arguments we had, god bless you mike, rest in peace old pal.

I was on the SNFC committee with Mike back in 2001 and he was a top bloke,a fantastic dooman and a real sporting gentleman. He had qualities that are sadly missing in a lot of the present day doomen .Sad news indeed!!
