there is absolutely 0 chance of anyone getting took to court ,, and who could be took to court ??

Our first rule of thumb we all force this through and get it called a sport, that way we get all the protection we need then the next stage at £1 per member for a PR to have weekly news strips showing pigeon getting killed and live video shots. a petition signed save our garden birds get racing pigeon shown how good they are with helping the heroes. And charity work done you don't get f/all from cats and dog owner forums. But the rspb make plenty from keeping percey ,as a web cam money puggy

Maybe the clever cookies could ask the snfc nicely if they will adjust their programme....plonkers

Great idea, but where would the few fed members, get there kicks from.

Have a look at the measurements from the east and west route race points into north Lanarkshire and then work it for yourself, the birds are still likely to dog leg into the Fed, tells its own story

Your bang on m8 a live in Coatbridge flew west an east an the birds still come out of airdrie an a give them overfly but for the sake of the birds it's a no brainier to keep the birds on last years route ano we had bad racing an that's down to bop .they have always been down the west an have only accumulated to more so why go ther a get more overfly of my club mates in uddingston wen we go west but a want a bit of safety for birds.pigeons come first jmo

Couldn't agree with you more mate' I didn't write my posts in support of going the west route as I'm dead against it, just demonstrating why this has been proposed and pushed through by the Airdrie club, but they've made a complete arrs of it and the whole fed will now have to take the consequences of losses to BOP and the financial losses in birdage due to not going with the SNFC to inland nats, and there will be load of members looking to jump ship so that they can fly an easterly route race programme

Absolutely ridiculous this has happened the guys that have voted for this haven't done their homework.

Forget overfly and all that jazz the pigeons will be absolutely hammered...

I've already been contacted about a club im a member of giving the option of going with south lanarkshire the club won't be the only one

Could spell the end of the Lanarkshire fed we know off

48k in the bank and transporters bought and paid for...whats the balance going to be like when we have covered these ridiculous races on our own?

Very,,, alarming,, of course everyone done their homework before voting or proposing 👀👀

I could honestly care less,,, this is not the first time it's been done,,, good birds will always be there or there about,

However The best interest of the birds is never the topic ,,,,, that is the main failing factor here.

This has nothing to do with me but all the comments are from people who are against it, who voted for it and what's your response to all the above concerns?

If the west has as many bop as the east then pigeons couldn't have influenced it as most of Scotland has flown the east for years. Or am I wrong?

im not a lanarkshire member im just reading the posts ,can someone explain how one club can propose and push through the race program in a fed the size of lanarkshire fed

george ask dal2 im sure i saw him comment that the solway have had great racing the last 2 years

with minimal losses

so the problem would seem to be a 50 or 60 mile stretch into lanarkshire

and how to sort that

The Solway boys obviously want the cover of Lanarkshire birds coming up that route, rightly so :emoticon-0136-giggle:
