Delboy Posted July 1, 2015 Report Posted July 1, 2015 Due to the situation at Dover/Calais and difficulty in obtaining confirmation of ferries for next week the race from Ypres will now take place from Eastbourne. Race marking will take place tomorrow (Thursday 2nd July) as arranged. We have also had news from our contact Stefaan Van Moerbeke in Ypres who advised against a race from Ypres this weekend due to hot weather as it is 34 degrees in the shade and too hot for liberating birds to race. Maybe its all for the best

frank-123 Posted July 1, 2015 Report Posted July 1, 2015 Crossing at Portsmouth on the ferry I thought all the ferries would be fully booked with all the chaos at Dover. Well done to the committee of your fed.
eastcoaster Posted July 1, 2015 Report Posted July 1, 2015 Well don lanarkshire delegates,,,roughly same distance as ypres,,organised in a hour,,Scandelaous in my opinion , where are birds getting marked how can we be in two places at once ? What was wrong with Eastbourne all for 50 or 60 mile . I wanted a oversea race but this is not the correct decision .omo.
geordie1234 Posted July 1, 2015 Report Posted July 1, 2015 LRPF. 1/07/15 Following the delegate meeting held tonight birds will be race marked at Uddingston premises between 1530 and 1845 for a race from Carentan. Birdage £4 per bird. Please attend as early as possible
