Guest TAMMY_1 Posted January 18, 2015 Report Posted January 18, 2015 Was heading to tigers house this morn along the M8 eastbound just before the b7078 junction about 2 miles from hart hill services , When a car in front of me suddenly veared off to the left around 60/65 mph. Flew over the embankment bounced and rolled down a field ,what a mess , I stopped ran down jumped a fence and got to the car ,a young lady in her 20,s came crawling out the car which was lying on its side , blood everywhere ,I reached in to her car turned off ignition in case of fire made her comfortable and held her hand till the police came and took over, took my name and stuff and said I could leave ,hope the wee lassie is ok . I spoke to her before I left and all she seemed to worry about was her car , I said it's only a car love you can get another ,I wished her good luck and hope that she recovers quickly ,she looked at me and said thank you . God bless her I think she hit an ice patch on the motorway best dog ceramics a true gentleman ,well done

hotrod Posted January 19, 2015 Author Report Posted January 19, 2015 I sent a text to her this morn ,she called me this afternoon ,she had only just got her phone gave back to her, she couldn't thank me enough ,wanted my address to send a card , I told her I don't want a card or anything , I was just happy she was ok , she told me that when the ambulance arrived the paramedic looked at her car looked at her and said you did not walk away from that ,no way , he then said someone up their must have been looking down on you , she walked away with a cut to the head with a lump the size of an apple ,and a fractured wrist ,. Lucky lucky girl . I'll sleep better tonight now . She went to look at her car in the yard where it was taken to and realised how lucky she was .

God bless her I think she hit an ice patch on the motorway .black ice deadly Stut and thats a lucky girl , my daughters friend who she started the cali uni with at start of september got killed along with her boyfriend yest afternoon in car crash in coyleton tragic , dont think temp went above 0 yesterday .
