  1. Good luck John I wish you well.. Signed the Tup.
  2. That, of course makes the assumption that the Ayrshire birds cleared immediately in the right direction. It only takes one peregrine to upset that assumption. Not at the school I attended. I suppose you were simply looking for an argument
  3. These 2 are pretty close together. Let’s hope they avoided each other.
  4. I believe they moved yesterday.
  5. I have just spoken with a fancier from Rochdale who has 25 SU rung pigeons in his possession at the moment. All of these have a race rubber in addition to their ETS ring. They are being taken to the Newcastle area for uplift soon.
  6. I believe that weather conditions were mainly responsible for this disaster. I further believe that specialised weather forecasts are available from the Met Office. It really is time to obtain the best weather advice available to help Race Controllers make well informed decisions. We all saw the advance forecast and we all knew that there was a possibility of a dodgy race but sent our best regardless.
  7. Correct. Our birds at Lauder are slow and returns so far are poor
  8. Although this is a sensible suggestion John they couldn’t agree to go to the longest race together even with considerable cash incentives so any form of cooperation is unlikely to occur. It is a well established fact that most people in positions of authority are power motivated.
  9. When I read of a federation of 16 members sending 101 birds to a race of approximately 260 miles I feel it is time to despair for the future of our sport. The above was posted without disrespect for anyone.
  10. Still subject to R.P.R.A approval I believe.
  11. Ayrshire federation will be there next weekend. You might get some feedback then.
  12. Whatever happened to Global Warming!
  13. My information is from a fancier who flew with the MNFC for several years. I don’t recall seeing any liberations from West Bay scheduled on the RPRA web site.
  14. Popular rumour has it that West Bay and surrounding areas now are home to ,not one, but several families of Percy. This is so evident that English organisations avoid this area for liberations. My source of information is reliable.
