Spoke to George Thompson and they left at 9.20 pm ,missed them by 5 minutes expletive remove.

Why do clocks need to be checked on the day timed for all races ? As a fancier waiting on birds from any national is a great experience and sitting out the back door with a few beers makes it great but having to take your clock on the day stops us having a wee drink and enjoying our national racing to the max all the marking comittee have to leave their lofts also spoiling their race what is wrong with second day checking for all races ?

and only 7 on the lib line...

With a lot of fanciers trying to follow how the race is unfolding in their sections it is very hard to do when fanciers do not phone the lib line, did notice that no section A birds were recorded on lib line which I am sure is not the case. :partick-thistle-Crest:

Sorry Del , ill blame the drink

Apology accepted m8, demon drink :o:emoticon-0123-party:

I wouldn't use the word 'bad' to describe us in the Solway or those in the West section. Certainly a more challenging location.

A big well done to all who timed, especially in the south and west

Think Alec was jesting Chris, tongue in cheek stuff.

Your not that drunk del but 10/10 for observation. seriously with not even 10 percent of birds home between sections AE and F and other lads in some sections nearly all home in 90 minutes time for a good look at the format and maybe a wee change. :o

do all feds on the west side of the country fly the west route

because if there used to flying up the west then more would be coming up that way

if the birdage was an equal split

if not then the drag dictates which route the birds fly

so its simple send more birds than the east and get all west feds flying down the west route

the wind is predominantly sw but we still get this brought up when its northerly or has east in it

so to me its the drag more than the wind
