Guest IB Posted May 18, 2012 Report Posted May 18, 2012 Andrew Fleming, 'Mr Combine' our oldest club flying member aged 89, died Thursday morning after a short spell in hospital. My deepest sympathy to his wife & family at this sad time.

aye ready Posted May 18, 2012 Report Posted May 18, 2012 met andra a few times over the years and was a gentleman of the sport who will be sadly missed,great record at the combine at 500 miles which was his thing,our thoughts are with his family and friends,RIP andra. aye john, andra lived for the scottish central combine races and had a lot of good results when it was at it's height,none more so than with his good cheq hen "something special" SU 98 NW 5786 which was 3rd open beauvais 2000,6th open brussels 2001,and 9th open lille 2002 and winning a certificate of merit with the scc,this hen also got full page coverage on the front of the british homing world and she is still alive to this day,great pigeon and great pigeon man a true gent
