Just travelled from Edinburgh to London on train and the weather been great the whole way down which if stays like this it would be a perfect flying day I would say.quite a strong south westerly wind as well at points. Good luck to all

100% right , perhaps if they bother to check an up to date rule book they'd clearly see that no rules have been bent and the secretary was quite right to hand out a well deserved gold award. Seems they just want to bring the snfc down at every turn.

John , try adshel up at deerdykes view in Cumbernauld it's the company that does the bus shelters and they usually have have clear Perspex and white Perspex Lyin about that's been replaced, I've had stuff up there a few times.

Well done all in what looks like another great race for the snfc, congrats to the race controllers and convoyors again they've done a great job with not 1 bad race this year

I see g + b hunter have timed in I wonder if it's kingdom spirit for it's double gold award, I certainly hope so

But there was pigeons timed further north on the nite in fact there was one in Aberdeen before 9

As far as I'm lead to believe they've had excellent racing this year with many compliments on the condition of birds on return etc, even at yesterday's race theirs guys gettin 3 or 4 on the drop from 370 odd miles. Think the guys have done a great job this year. Credit where credits due

I agree every bird should have the same chance but what you're sayin Is if it's fine to liberate say 9.30 or earlier don't liberate but wait till mid day when weather could close in and you could be there for days after that. You have to go at the earliest opportunity surely, I just think the race controllers and convoyors are slated at every turn when I believe they have the fanciers and birds interests at heart.

The latest old bird race liberation last year was 7.45 at alencon the rest were before 6.30, Do you think the race controllers and convoyors want to be hangin about any longer than they need to.

Do you honestly think they're purposely holding them back to shut the north boys out of it

Yes maybe not the winner but certainly the top performance in the race
