alec guinness Posted August 21, 2011 Report Posted August 21, 2011 D.Smith Dunning,Perthshire used to send y/birds to Rennes with the nfc 500+milesThey called him the mad Scotsman,Dont know why. a fancier a wee bit along the road from ourselves sent youngsters to Rennes as recently as the late 90s,think he sent 3 and got 2 home. :)
Roland Posted August 21, 2011 Report Posted August 21, 2011 Berwick normally at 250 odd. Sometimes Elgin at just over 300. Like I say in Canada when there they were flying over 400 miles back to back weeks. Best I done was win 1st and second Thurso - 479miles or more - with 4 month old youngsters. This was for the now defunct 'Midland NRCC'.
