Used George 4/5 times now and is spot on , shame about loft to loft going because they were a good link up .

I was the same as yourself and was gutted not to time my sole entry in the gold cup , and that was my problem only having one doo to send , so I have invested in some very nice distance birds that are ybs at moment and had one race 130 mls , they will get 4 races as yearlings and what is left will be split half being stopped the rest going out to inland nat , it will take a few years to get them to fly in Hell's Kitchen but am very happy with them at moment .

Would have liked to see us keep this programme for 3 years then take it from there . I will send my yearlings with another fed for a wee bit of distance before the nats , but glad they have a comeback race for my late breds .

I used to steal them awe from the shop I done the paper round for lol and confess to reading my sisters bunty . But my favorite was the ones my brother hid behind the toilet cistern it could take me an hour to have a bath lol. Great memories.

It's a bit of mission impossible , my mate is looking for a hen from this family but mr Clements got the last of them and also goes to the van braunne loft and says the quality of years gone bye is not there anymore but my pal keeps looking for in my opinion is not there . Mr Clements I believe got the last of them 17 years ago from the Bennett loft .

Anyone know who has the above strain and had them for years , I know that Albert Bennett has not got birds anymore and he gave his last to a mr Clements but just wondered after seeing an advert in bhw. They must be very diluted by now .

You can get some slug killer from dobbies called slug clear , it's the ballocks it's like a battle field dead slugs everywhere , I lost a very good stock hen through getting lung worm of them by the time I discovered them in the loft it was too late, they came in the small louvre s . Hate the wee bastewards .

Nearly all lows here ,tried widowhood for first time but it just never happened and lost a lot of good cocks and left with a lot of good hens with no experience also my good racing cock came at one race and was bang up there with fed winners but he just keeps flying around the house ( done same last 2 years ) so frustrating because he is a very good pigeon , sent what I thought was my best ever hen to Alencon gutted not to see her again , I was so sure , Only plus side would be Maidstone 3 rd sect and another couple that would have been well in but for gettin pisseed waiting on them . Another plus joining Airdrie pigeon club I can honestly say you need to be almost topping the fed most weeks to win this club ,the quality of birds and fanciers I have never competed against before so I need to try a hell of a lot harder. Well done to all who had a good season and those like me that never let's give them hell next season .

Sorry but check the records Peter has won at the distance with the Snfc when the birdage was far greater than it is today , but it is not a competition between them it is a fact they both fly in a very good area and we don't ( west sect) .

Mr bilsland is a very good fancier but until he wins from 500 ml with the consistency of Peter virtue you cannot compair the 2 , the area he fly,s has the biggest advantage of any area in Scotland and am afraid most in the west don't know what it's like to fly there so to keep on about the mans performances is not what is all about , he no longer fly,s in the west section so let's get on with flying the birds from our own location be it good or bad .
