I,m going to lullaby Los gigantas in puerto de Santiago on 23 rd January how far is the one loft from there as I would love to visit the lofts .

Will be there , ordered some parastop and will pick up from deweerd also want a look at the crafty fifer stall .

The pentland fed have a separate club for pools and can pay out £200/£300 so it can be done , not sure about every week !

The fed send sometimes 7500 birds and you could have the 16th best bird and don't get on sheet is not right plus as mentioned you might not get a club position but top your section that also can't be right , no sections just one result top 40 and that's it . Jmo

My solution would be brick pillars with steel beam to support floor joists . The problem could be how bad the ground is for building sleeper walls so the beams would solve that .jmo

Gave the brother a young hen 2 yrs ago unraced or trained , he has raced it out to Maidstone , was going up to his loft one sat but noticed a stray on my loft,when got to his he told me he had lost a nice hen I had given him I said I had a stray at mine this morning , turned out the same hen that raced for him for 2 years then just uped sticks and came here and is still here .

I have several schalie hens but would love schalie cocks but not had one in 3 years , they go right back to the jannsens of old ,

Maybe be a bit of topic ! But I have never been in a more un settled federation in my pigeon life , why we cannot just race the birds and take what comes . One of the posts said it all ,the most noise is made by those who do nowt in racing , it seems to be about keep them out ,let them in but it don't matter who or where there is always problems fook we should all have one goal , GET RID OF BOP? . Ps I race in the tough est club in Lanarkshire fed and can't get close to the top men but just get on with trying to improve . Ps I have raced in East Scotland / Midlothian/ Midland fed but am in the best in the land now so let's show them all how it has done. Jmo

Fooking terrible , but lucky my garden is big and the lofts are in wooded section so mess is no problem , but it is a pain in the *expletive removed* lol

Anyone use these in the loft ? , I have them on the floor of 2 sections and think they are great for absorbing moisture and there is no pigeon smell after being down for 5 month , my worry is the dust ! It dous,nt seem to bother the birds but am worried about respiratory when the training starts . Any thoughts .

Agree they may be good birds but the price for direct is mental , the macs will win with them because they are top men but all I ment was there is a new strain every year to tempt us mugs who are searching for the holy grail . You got any yet del lol .
