This part of what is wrong in the sport, some one comes up with a story they have not the facts so causes unrest to other s ,if you had not been so prompt with your reply your club would have been slaughtered . The rpra, Snfc, are both in disarray due to the old school holding hands and not moving with modern times . Very sad.

My previous club I got them some sponsor cash and sponsored £10 a race plus a bonus race for £50 , you put numbers 1/10 in hat and on basketing night draw from the hat a position in your club result that member gets the prize so you can be 10 th and win yourself the prize ! In your case make it a bag of feed as the bonus prize .

Not even started pairing stock maybe next weekend racers are flying celibate for first six races then paired .

Give my birds 5 x2 nd Lanarkshire Feds and call them all you want they are champions to me , if a bird gets in top 10/20 of a race with 2/3/4 plus thousand doos they are worth having . Not always best doo wins race .

Hi I am currently in Tenerife and won't be back until just before sale ends so no time to put much info up . I have been building a team of distance birds from deweert,friedlehofen,heberecht, also have done well in last few years with Snfc inland nat,s , ask anyone who has seen my stock birds they will tell you they are a nice lot but that is your choice I garentee whoever buys these two ybs will be over the moon , Colin grieve,

Not sure if it's bred well enough for me

I am one of the few that have raced in east and now in west , the brother also used to fly in Peebles but now flys in east where we originate , I am only building for the 500 ml races and am no where near the level of a lot of men through here at the distance , I t is without doubt a harder tougher terrain to race to , but part of me agree's that the great doos of years ago are,nt around in the west , when I started racing 40 years ago the west side always held there own in these races , not so much now but I put a lot of that down to the race programme and inland nats, our fed programme is geared for sprint racing this year which is no help to anyone that wishes to race the channel ! Years ago they had their own channel races but there is no interest now . I have only sent to a few nationals since I came thru here and done ok in the inland nats but can't get my head around no matter where I train my birds from be it East Lothian or down Crawford/ Peebles way we in the west sect are 1 hour behind the east section ! Our west doo,s are not that bad and in my case are the same birds thet scored well in the east sect or were in the frame . I am not a top pigeon man and possibly never will be but there is more to this than bad fanciers or bad birds . Just my opinion .

The blue cock I was 3 rd in sect Maidstone 2014 was feeding a 20 day old yb and sitting 2 eggs , if I,m honest that was why I never pooled him , he gave me plenty hints mind but I overlooked them .

Fantastic flying Did I not read a while back you were putting an Avery on the front of your loft , did you notice any difference in your birds condition ! You have had good result s for years just wondered if you see a difference .

First time I met Geordie Harris I sat next to him at one of the midland fed supper nights not knowing who he was , he asked me who I was and where I came from turned out he knew my brother well , he started telling me he had done this done that won this won that , I sat there thinking I have a major bull shitter here after a while Andy graven done a speech congradulating Geordie Mann on his nat win when the other guy next to me said I won the national too! That was enough for me I moved table , end of night I said to Andy Garven who I was sitting beside then he told me that bullshitter was one of the best fliers in Scotland lol . Told my brother and he just laughed in my face lol.

John Houston does well ,but jimmy wilkinson has done really well in the last few years in particular .
