Lol Lanarkshire are only at 170 ish this week so already a 100 ml jump next week , after 7 races .

Another 2 today 22/25 three first timers to come , but on a happier note 5 guys flying my birds have reported prize winners yesterday ..

20/25 got first 19 in an incredible 10 mins and only one since lol but all yearlings missing but 2 have had 2 races so just no gid enough.

You have hit it on the head for me Andy , I fly in one of the toughest clubs in Scotland (my opinion) and wanted to compete but with work and not being a driver I was up against it but the hawks have taken their toll , I have always said I am aiming at national racing but how do you mold a team of birds when they constantly are ripped apart by the bop . I know many have said the same but it has really done me in lately . I love my pigeons but hurts when they come home ripped apart .

I set aside 8 pigeons for the 1st national as I did last year , I now have 1 left to race ! I have lost 4 and 3 are ripped up all from training and all 2 year olds all raced their breeding were class 2 bred by John Houston and one out of Gareth Rankin good hen (g/d) all gone . My Maidstone sect cock out and another that would have been in same result if timed ripped up . How do you carry on when as I am sheet scared to train them , I have been down before but this is so hard to take now . I know some of you guys have lost better pigeons than I could wish for but how do you carry on sending birds you know are good enough but don't make it . Not long now I fear . And to make it worse the hibs are getting humped lol.

14/27 thirsk best I heard in Airdrie were the macs at 10.30 but don't quote me John Barr around same time only 25 mins in front of my fattys also.

Had some mega showers here .15/27 all first timers missing ! Glad I split my team not an easy day for them , then again some made it so why not others .

Only 5/27 in 45 mins have 15 away for first race not looking great .

Think they will be too quick for mine.

East Lothian is like most areas the Percy have it covered , cockenzie has a pair on the power station so not a great choice for training , the brother stays in longniddry and is over run by Percy plus Haddington has 2 pair I believe ,all on the line from Dunbar , I went with the Airdrie van to Peebles on wed and dropped 3 yearling cocks and 2 two year olds that have been to Charnock Richard so does it really matter .
