JonesyBhoy Posted January 29, 2017 Report Posted January 29, 2017 nearly there lads.. just the landing board to go on... (which ive not decided yet how i want) ..
Froog Posted January 29, 2017 Report Posted January 29, 2017 Very nice, also painted white is so different from most lofts, but looks great.
Froog Posted January 30, 2017 Report Posted January 30, 2017 Ah, ok, still looks great tho, do you prefer pvc to timber?
JonesyBhoy Posted January 30, 2017 Author Report Posted January 30, 2017 first year back in the doos.. Prior to this always had timber. And the loft is built with ply under the pvc.. but to be honest i went and seen the Morris Bros when i was building my loft and they had it and i thought that'll do for me.. lol plus it looks decent for the wife, neighbours etc
Froog Posted January 30, 2017 Report Posted January 30, 2017 Yeh, looks stunning, also lots of light, I presume you don't darken the YBs ? Sorry for so many Qs, just got back in it last year myself.
hotrod Posted January 30, 2017 Report Posted January 30, 2017 nearly there lads.. just the landing board to go on... (which ive not decided yet how i want) ..Looking good pal well done .
dkj Posted January 30, 2017 Report Posted January 30, 2017 your lofts looks great, the only thing i cant see are vents at low level

Sorry for so many Qs, just got back in it last year myself. not planning to... but i have an internal mesh ceiling with shutters to darken on the light from the roof... so it would be just a case of getting a curtain for the window if i choose to darken..
JonesyBhoy Posted January 30, 2017 Author Report Posted January 30, 2017 your lofts looks great, the only thing i cant see are vents at low level my original attention was for low level vents.. but after a few discussions with a number of fanciers i decided for 3 inch gap front and back at roof level.. there will be dowelled windows inside the polycarb windows as to leave open when i choose..
bullcock Posted January 30, 2017 Report Posted January 30, 2017 Looking Great, if you can race as good as you can build lofts you will do great, all the best for 2017.
showman Posted January 30, 2017 Report Posted January 30, 2017 Very professional looking loft Alan, an absolute credit to you !Are you going to fit guttering at front ?For your landing boards, what about slatted 2x1 PAR. Don't need to be all that deep either. Would set it off nicely.IMO.Best of luck mate.Paul.
