now 18 from 19 , last one home has black muck over his feet and legs ??

34/40 i2 of the missing have flown the channel ! Never sent so many birds to a race and never again . But best race we have had so far as birds had to do the work . Amazed at my late breds have not had a lot of training and they just keep plodding on .

well its been like pulling teeth for me today but have 50 from 54 sent now but the old birds that needed the race made hard work of it jim had a great race with only 4 to come at checking and ive seen another one or two drop to him from 30 odd sent but thats doo racing

Straight winds give ye a straight race usually...the struggles in my loft are the under motivated and the pigeons that perhaps are for later days....I just like them home and try again next week

out with the dogs this evening , across the fields , still the odd 1 or 2 making there way home. still a latebred to come here , lost 1 last week , but his nest mate was 3rd to the loft ?? will hopefully be here in the morning ?

We had 38/45 at 6pm not been at the loft since but funnily enough we had 27 in the 1st hour and 32 90mins after our timer but only 6 in the next 4 hours or so

Just got my grizzle hen who flew clermont on shift last year and has been hit for 4th time not too serious but missin 2 tail feathers and a snapped flight so may or may not get to gold cup .

Only sent 15 two year olds

Gave yearlings rest this week

Really pleased with the way they came today

First 4 in a minute from 181mls

2 Hens to come first time one has had night out in its life fingers crossed

what remains of the snapped flight dal would you pull it ? or try and fix or mend ?

Think it's 5 in

Only exeptional birds with moult to the 5th and win. .......so I would let it race and put it bye for next year when I thought it had done enough. Only my opinion many will disagree
