Edinburgh west Posted January 4, 2016 Report Posted January 4, 2016 Who has the best sprint pigeons in Scotland. ??
Rooster J. Cogburn Posted January 4, 2016 Report Posted January 4, 2016 Henry Borthwick of Winchburgh has a cock that's won something like 9 or 10 1st clubs and 5 or 6 1st feds. Would have to say that's a good yin flying against some very handy fliers? Think you'd be hard pushed to find fanciers in Scotland with more inland fed toppers over the last couple of years than DougieBald of Balerno and Jim & Anne Donaldsonof Peterhead?
eastcoaster Posted January 4, 2016 Report Posted January 4, 2016 The macs without a doubt in west , but there are a few others thru here with very good results , but still think the vandenabelle s are best the brother and I had along with the van reets but they only got 200 mls .

Why you think I am more into distance racing lol . I handle these boys birds some weeks and it's told me I am not ready to take these class on at the shorter races. The Barr pigeons are the best conditioned I have ever seen .

WulDon Posted January 5, 2016 Report Posted January 5, 2016 GWP MacAloney... by a mile!! no other loft can even chip the edges of these lads results over the last 20 years or so!!! not just one pigeon, multiple fed/sect winners and equal fed/sect winners.
peter pandy Posted January 5, 2016 Report Posted January 5, 2016 Dougie Bald for me is without doubt the best sprint fancier in Scotland as his results are phenomemal.

eastcoaster Posted January 5, 2016 Report Posted January 5, 2016 Results are there in black in white nobody touches what they have wonI fully agree , but what the lads in the west have to understand is outside this area not many see the fed results and is mostly hearsay ,And can honestly say I had never heard of them before coming through here .

eastcoaster Posted January 5, 2016 Report Posted January 5, 2016 Even when they won a national with Janefield Andy?In the 70s or 80 s they were just another national winner , and I was a hell of a lot younger surrounded by nat winners in East Lothian .I am not knocking these guys and certainly not their performances just trying to point out if the results are,nt out there you won't know much about them .
