I've lost 3 already. 1 from a 12 mile trainer and 2 from an 80 mile race.

I sent 19 last Saturday 15 of them for their first ever race .dropped 2 of the 15

been lucky so far with 100% for the first two races but our time will come

Lost 6 latebreds in their 1st toss after being hit by peregrine strike shortly after release, dropped 8 in the 1st race from 122mls and the rest of the team have had a 2nd race from 142mls and several more tosses from 30ml and are still coming well but I'm sure there will be a few more going awol especially from the channel race points

No losses from training or racing with the old birds - so far (2 races to 106 miles)

 

Have lost 1 young bird off the loft though

no racing yet but dropped 2 from a 50 mile toss

Lost one from 20mike toss, one from 40 mile toss and lost two from 1st race 74miles

Also lost two young birds of the top of the loft

Dropped 8 all training 2 from 5 mls lol all untrained yearlings bar 1 which flew Newbury , have 4 injured by the basted of the sky.

My first race this weekend first real try at widowhood and think they will come on for the run lol.

We have our 1st race this Weekend, but so far lost 4 from 2nd training toss had 2 injured from same toss ,

8 tosses later and no other losses yet.

training consisted of 6 tosses over last 3 weeks, 1st lift 40 miles last 60 miles. started with 28 and have lost 7....2 unraced yearlings, 3 raced yearlings and 2 latebreds.(one latebred reported dead)

 

Havent sent to a race yet, but the 21 left have took some stick over 6 tosses, flights missing, two with holes in chest, and tail feathers missing in others. Not a good sign for the year to come.

4 training tosses, had 100% returns till yesterday, sent them 20 odd miles & got 5 in bits either torn or hardly a flight left and 6 still to come, and we,ve not had a race yet? just about had enough oh this carnage,

Last week full returns 8/8 but have only lost 1 cock from training van all late breds so they r doing not to bad

Lost 2 training too many tosses to count as they are unraced yearlings so needed teaching good. 1 hawked whilst training but made it home recovered in time for start of season.

 

Lost 1 racing but only had 2 races up to now.
