Glad it was a good toss, given the circumstances, just a pitty the weather couldn't have held of a little longer to have being able to get a toss from the meldons.

Like you say Aldo, with 4 different picks ups its not so easy, but that extra hour would have been a great help, your correct about Colin, hes doing a great job, and learning all the time.

Not training racers no more (widow cocks )week previous 4x 20mls last week 1x 50 mls deliberately did not send 1 cock ,timed him saturday only beat by i min they are exercising well at home so proved to me waste of petrol he will also be well up in fed going by club times think routine and happiness is far more important and raced every week jmo good luck whatever you choose :emoticon-0167-beer:

The wind down here on the South Coast has been a real problem for training and racing, our first two Channel races have been held with very strong, cold, cross winds in the Channel. As a soft Southerner this sort of weather in May is very unusual especially the temperatures.

Even on 20ml tosses the birds are splitting up.

Today has started cold, windy and overcast but has now started to brighten up, we are promised a pleasant afternoon so I will try and get my (up to now)unraced hens away. Thursday is also looking good and then it's all downhill for the weekend again.

Bad morning here heavy rain and a cold nw wind, the midweek birds are at Worcester (83mls) it will have to be an afternoon lib when hopefully it will clear.
