Did they race the gold cup from from liege many years ago...

L.McKay, Carnoustie flying 527mls in 2001. Not sure if it was the Gold Cup though. But it was the only French race due to Foot & Mouth.

Burdinne looks very good choice with open countryside for birds to fly into ,if they can hold a line of flight their only main obstacle will be Brussels all obviously dependant on wind direction

If they could hit the coast between Bruges and the Antwerp estuary allowing them to hit land in ipswich area

A dutch fancier told me if wind puts them further north they then encounter the four main waterways from antwerp to Rotterdam giving them a much greater sea crossing

Here's hoping for another summer like 76 - 2018 and an east wind lol

Getting excited already :emoticon-0157-sun:

531 to Forfar. 2 miles less than Roye. Don’t know if I will bother. Should have gone to Reims

What about Ripon for the Gold Cup next year?

Might as well get it out in the open now, the sprinters have taken over this once great club and won’t be happy until they can time in before lunch, “on the dayâ€, then get to the pub.
