Well - I was wrong - club winner was doing just under 1700 ypm - thought they would have been faster than that - though the home end was not at all windy (and we were as predicted - behind.. )

I have 4 strays in at the moment, and have made contact with 3 of the owners. 2 will be given a helping hand home, one, we might have to hang on to for a month to help it home - but I don't mind, we have 8 spare boxes in the shed - its not the fault of the birds if their owners are unresponsive and I'd like to think that others would treat my strays with the same kindness that I do. Tiger - your attitude is rather disappointing

We had hailstones during the night - with Northerly wind therefore weather moving South - but probably between Newark and the North East Tony (don't worry )
