Wrong Walter - I have had flu vaccines for years and don't think I have ever had flu since having the vaccine - It is a myth saying most people get the flu - they don't - I am no longer 'entitled' to a free flu vaccine as of this year - and I am prepared to pay for it myself !!

How can a DEAD vaccine (only dead PMV vaccines are approved in this country for pigeons) give birds a live virus ( answer - it cannot) something else is happening (but it is not the vaccine causing it)

I have always had some old hens in with my young birds - spare yearling hens and older - the old birds are vaccinated in December/January and the youngsters in May - so far I have never had any problems Have you involved DEFRA to confirm that this is what you have (PMV)

Redcar Central FC 15 members sent 372 birds (100 down on last week) Rivenhall (near Southend on sea) - with the Up North Combine - 202 miles to me but we've stopped 2 young birds this week for being well into the moult (despite darkness !!) plus another 2 injured - most natural youngsters will be stopped now
