  1. distance doo,s fart alot chris, it helps them up the road ya bampot ha ha haaaaaa...
  2. most untrained have to be chased oot the crate and thats the ones that keep turning and pull the batch for yet another circle, fact is ive seen it a million times but usuall by the third race you are getting good libs.
  3. i understand john holding till it heated up cause birds arnt interested after a trip if its cold early, they need a bit of warmth and soon tell you if they want to go, its like they come alive and are jumpin, miss the and your aswell as holdover, doos dont feel the cold, its a joke, in proper feather not to early bred? then they will fly the sky, apart from percy from that distance they should romp in, how many sent eary bred in poor feather, ??i think john did well keeping you lads updated.

  9. hard to say dave the same names are clocking but the birdage did dropcause o dodgy comebacks which are a waste o time imo,the watering on geraldy is first class, couldnt get better with good airflow and fed in the front tray,if its really hot you can travel with shutters up, got to be better surely.
  10. try millar of wick, thats racing.
  11. i have a mate round the corner from me thats never trained a doo in ten year but was i rst west sect one year and turns a good doo out in club, i know lads that train the hell oot o them but get hit and they have nowt tae race, as a lib lad i know that untrained birds hold the convoy back on lib and that effects velocity on race and also atract predetors while circling to get bearings, also racepoints arnt researched properly as i have been to a few with resident perry and had to wait until they got a kill from the ferals so we could libh, the doo game has to waken up and racepoints have to be checked out before sending your birds for a early lib into the uknown, one last thing, why the hell are we using wicker crates for nat racing when geraldy has three sides water and brillant air flow, think o the doos for once,

  18. weather on way home was dry all the way with a light north west wind coming to borders itwas strenthning , then csossing friaton brig at perth it lessened and the day realy improved from there to be perfect pigeon weather, however i think they had a hard shift up to the borders as the north in the wind would have been a hard task,i hope they made home cause they were well rasted and watered and fed, lets hope for good returns, atb davy.
