Glasgow and south Lanark have delayed basketing for 21 hrs , but Sunday not looking good either a decision will be made at noon tomorrow , think both Joe and wullie are working today ,it's them that puts out text messages .
I agree big man ,but also about the 4 hr timescale , they do it in England .im sure . And yes if u make it a rule then they must phone in . . All this cheating allegations , come on out with it who and how ?
certainly is well done lads ,I was down a few weeks back swapping a youngster , mark was telling me their birds were racing well with only a few losses .and well done everyone who timed in a very trying race after some poor comments about controlling .they guys think of the birds first and foremost.
Colin ,I thought I lost all of mines tonight 17 in total , let them out at 19-05 never seen them again for about 1 hr 20 mins , luckily only one missing .
Yes John but if we aren't at same lb site we can't joint lb , after the meeting between Feds two races were agreed ,but unfortunately one was Retford. Well we know what happened there . So this week is sole survivor . Am no biting the night .
Just a point to you John , at what point or when were we supposed to joint lib with Lanarkshire . Only other race point we have been there together was otterburn , ????? So why the snide remarks ?
Sorry missed my mate last night so bird is just away tonight and will be let go 13 miles from Elgin . Around 10 pm . Hope it get home ,it's a l,bred carrying two nest flights .
lost a yearling hen today from training , tossed 9 birds ,5 came then about 2 mins another 2 then 3/4 hr later my fancy for kettering came on his own and still waiting on the yearling . after a 12.25 lib .
ive raced out of these alloy crates for over 10 years and have never heard anyone say that birds getting hurt coming out the crates .that's a new one .
George read my post I never said birds don't just hit wires , yes years ago I got birds home ,looking like they hit wires on way home , they were few and far between , maybe one a season , now it seems to be just about every week .
George if a raptor hits a batch of pigeons yes it might get one but others g in all directions trying to get away and some of these hit wires branches of trees etc ,so imho lots of injuries are caused by bop .
Spoke to Matt and he's adamant that this pigeon was a mealy , and was lost from aycliffe last year with a Bricon ets ring on it .and he had not ever had phone number rings on any of his pigeons .
Been in the pigeon game for 40 years and I've never heard of that colour ,in fact I don't think there is such a colour . Easily get this colour from a red and a grizzle
Happened to mine today only thing mines were up for first time and over comes about 50/60 young birds ,looked as if they were just liberated not far from me , and away were my babies. But luckily enough all 15 came back . Last one was away for about an hour . I could strangle the sh head that did it .
Spoke to Matt today he checked his book , he lost this pigeon ,last year at Newton aycliffe ,was it in good condition when it came in or has it been roughing it ?
