My old man used to get it for the garden ,he had cuts of 4/5inch clay pipes about 2ft long stood them on end around 20 of them filled them with the mole soil and grew his carrots in them for showing ,he said it had no stones in it so the carrots would grow nice and straight , he changed it every year with the old stuff scattered around the garden .

Can't get that let them all out ,pigeons are gregarious ,(like company) so breaking one at a time is far better . You can break 2/3a day no prob see ,except the stubborn ones usually hens ,just like women .

Del the difference in measurements is quite a bit in some races . But glad we're on the right direction .

Getting bad here in the west , I've got 3yearling hens sitting out tonight , 1st time out in around 3 months , 2 others just came in just as it got dark . Don't think they will like a night out on the tiles tonight eh ?

Not right Andy fed races were Peterborough ,otterburn ,billericay and arras , so could still be the same this year so add that to the old bird program after Melton Mowbray .

The reason behind the shorter young bird program was it was proposed that we started later (last Saturday in July) instead of mid July . Thus losing 2 races .

Had 3 German shepherds the first one def would not touch a pigeon, the second well she eat all my eggs out the nests one week before sartilly combine race, never touched a bird , the third she never looked at a bird , but when I wasn't around my wife wAtched her having a go at one or two when they were on the garden , so u can never be 100% sure they wouldn't take advantage of a situation .

Not too sure about the show now , great night out , but tea way salt in it , one tight fisted b@@@ger only buying one raffle ticket ,mr Sloan bringing the wrong birds , come on guys ???.
