Seen these bird once a few years ago and thought they were class , I begged rab to loan me a red hen I fell in love with ,but it belonged to his mate/family member ,so declined I wanted to pair it to the g,sire of my Reims national winner .

John mines was put on base of Sputnik , if I put it under the board then the birds aren't inside the loft when clocked ,but mines is legal 100% ,not sure about others . I can sleep at night

My birds sit in Sputnik while in loft so while it's fixed to front of loft inside the trap is inside the loft ,on a Saturday birds that are not away to race can trigger the ets as trainers , my birds are inside the loft when clocking in on ets , when I know by reading most on here that their birds are still outside when clocking in , why take a chance of being disqualified from winning say a national , for an edge In club races . I think the governing body should do some work on this and do random checks not just the snfc .

I've always said pads should be inside the loft , or bobs ,mines are fitted to underside of floor of hand made sputniks the birds land on small board and drop through holes into trap and land on the floor of trap thus clocking in . If it were fitted to under side of landing board then as soon as bird lands its clocked in ,it's a no no for me and breaking rules and is disgraceful ,can't get this ,if you disqualify me I will take you to court ,this is bully boy tactics , in any club race you must have rules and these rule must be adhered to . End of .

Got a nice wee surprise today from my son and dtr for our 30th anniversary on Monday (doesn't time fly by) a night in loch fine hotel in Inveraray 6 course meal Sunday night breaky monday morn, superior room and spa plus a treatment each . Looking forward to it .

Think u will have to say what you do ,IMHO having raced Saturday think it depends how long they see their mates as to exercise the next day as , when I flew it a few years back I let the birds together for an hour on return , Sunday well they didn't want to fly they just wanted some loving Monday the same then after they realised they wurny getting in to their cocks they flew again ,

More and more packing in every year because of the same thing , so less fanciers more Hawks only one outcome pigeon racing will be finnished in a few years sadly .

Just back from work yesterday around 5-45 pm stopped and was ready to reverse up drive I noticed 3pigeons coming towards me overhead then wack one was taken out by Percy and carried away over the Clyde and towards Dumbarton . Think it was a streeter , mines were not out at the time .but I'm sure it's the one that hit me a few weeks ago .

Let both sexes out couple of weeks ago ,checked all birds last weekend ,one yearling hen with secondaries all out ,and missing a yearling cock ,both blues so maybe my local Percy has a wee liking to blue bars .
