did they produce anything good, ??

Emergency belonged to Jim O hara and was 1 st west, only bird on day, 11 th open Rennes. I got him to mate with Peggy, 1 st west 5 th open Gold cup, when she laid I immediately took an egg and Emergency back to Jim. His egg turned out one of his best distance breeders, mine only bred birds to score up to 450 mls, but it is definitely the way to do business if you want to get ahead.Quite unique, 2 west section Gold cup winners mates together, I was delighted to be part of it lol.Heres my lad with the yb out the pair

Read jims write up today , and his prep for the nationals with emergency mirrored my own for my cock this year only nest condition was different , met the man twice in succession in q for nationals and he even handle led my birds before basketing and really liked a blue cock ! When he said its number I realised I had the wrong bird he said you have correct bird , it was 3rd in the section . Very good fancier .

, hope these photos turn out,

Derek this red cock was a cracker of a bird we bred him in 1966, he won and was sire , g/sire and g/g sire of many winners, including our 1st up north combine from Melun in 1981, 463,mls, He was of the old Vandeveldes, and we crossed him with birds from Tinkler Son Piggford, Blackhall,

we started racing in 1966, I was 17,and working at the local colliery , & my partner was still at school He would of been 13,

This next photo is our unc winner, she also won the Osman memorial Trophy for her performance,

hope you like them, , George

Red cock looks a belt

Thanks, we raced them birds right up to the early 90s by then they were crossed into new blood , sadly we don't have them now, I think we were very lucky to get our hands on such good birds at an early age, that won from the word go back in the day when there was a lot more fanciers around we had to learn quickly or get left behind, podgy
