One of my fancied ones arrived at 12.30 and in all my years in this game I have never seen a pigeon so WET it was black with water where it should have been blue. 2 races and its probably finished for the season.

Rab my heart goes out to you.

I feel for you John its a horrible feeling. Last week I tossed all my hens 22 of them from 20 mile in a bonny day at the time within 5 minutes it was snowing it took 3 and a half hours for me to get my first 1 I ended up we 11 out of 22 on the day fortunately they all turned up on the Monday . I know it won't feel like it just now but you will get more home over the next couple o days pal

Yes he is feeding fine. Luckily the Hawk never turned him over and its only his back thats affected.

I've seen a lot worse survive. However I don't think he will see the inside of a race basket again.
