put most pairs together last Wednesday . Hens in the closed side overnight , a few new stock pairs ,some changed around , some established. already taken a hen out , and put an old 1 in :emoticon-0138-thinking:

8 pairs of yearlings in race loft , was about to give up with half of them. moved 2 hens ,and had resolved to race 2 cocks without hens ,until tonight, finally taking notice of each other .oh and 1 pair are nest-mates :emoticon-0127-lipssealed:

hows it going for you guys ?? :emoticon-0138-thinking:

Wont be pairing up until mid February Andy, hopefully all will go well then. Another few days Andy and they'll be well settled, pairing up is a stressful time for most fanciers :emoticon-0179-headbang: :emoticon-0179-headbang:

We more or less finished the big loft that we brought up from the old place yesterday put easibed in all the sections today 8 yearling cocks in the 1st section for the 1st time today(all had paired to young hens in the yb loft before we split them) the before mentioned hens were then threw in same section 30 mins later all sorted lol

2nd section mostly the old doos that have still to be broke (the section is identical as it was at the old place) they will get let out Friday morning but 6 cocks and 6 hens looked to be getting on just fine today when we left lol

I thought I had 9 pairs only to find out that my best cock bird was in with another cock

feel as though I got shafted when I bought the bird he was with

still needing another couple of show racer hens

There is a few people that have been selling showracers you need to see the birds before you buy them

hindsight an all ,I will not be had again the same way

the birds the guy was selling are finer in the head than mine , not as sweet so I readily accepted they were hens

just made a mess of my plans for now as I desperately need a good hen for what I consider to be my best cock bird

oh well

Well Alls not lost !!!!

Last year I bought half a dozen top drawer West of England Tumblers, off one of the best breeders

in Show Racers Etc In the UK.

A Top Judge,in the Fancy pigeon society

He has just returned from Holland.

When I visited his place last year,it was unbelievable to see the different kinds of pigeon breeds he has :animatedpigeons:
