Hens in the closed side overnight , a few new stock pairs ,some changed around , some established. already taken a hen out , and put an old 1 in 8 pairs of yearlings in race loft , was about to give up with half of them. moved 2 hens ,and had resolved to race 2 cocks without hens ,until tonight, finally taking notice of each other .oh and 1 pair are nest-mates hows it going for you guys ??

Wont be pairing up until mid February Andy, hopefully all will go well then. ALF Posted January 27, 2015 Report Posted January 27, 2015 We more or less finished the big loft that we brought up from the old place yesterday put easibed in all the sections today 8 yearling cocks in the 1st section for the 1st time today(all had paired to young hens in the yb loft before we split them) the before mentioned hens were then threw in same section 30 mins later all sorted lol2nd section mostly the old doos that have still to be broke (the section is identical as it was at the old place) they will get let out Friday morning but 6 cocks and 6 hens looked to be getting on just fine today when we left lol

white logan Posted January 27, 2015 Report Posted January 27, 2015 There is a few people that have been selling showracers you need to see the birds before you buy them hindsight an all ,I will not be had again the same way the birds the guy was selling are finer in the head than mine , not as sweet so I readily accepted they were hens just made a mess of my plans for now as I desperately need a good hen for what I consider to be my best cock bird oh well
