eastcoaster Posted May 31, 2014 Report Posted May 31, 2014 Do you fly roundabout or natural ?Started off on widowhood but the birds just never hit it , that's why I lost so many cocks early on , the birds are a picture of health a fellow fancier today said they look amazing condition but something is not right , not good enough maybe but if healthy they should work home but don't , not worried about birds that are lost the others made it so should they .

Out of curiousity do you keep the hens or cocks in the nest box section over night ?
eastcoaster Posted May 31, 2014 Report Posted May 31, 2014 Colin, how do you see racing in the west compared to the east, I know youll give an honest answer m8 as always.I am not a top fancier from the east but I have learned that you cannot jump pigeons in over here the same as the east if you do you will get hammered , I never believed it would be as tough as it has been , even training when you see where we have to train them is a death sentence , But Del nobody will ever accept that racing in the west is any harder than anywhere else , well you don't get any doo men moving here to win a national do you .jmo

Guest Gareth Rankin Posted June 1, 2014 Report Posted June 1, 2014 7/9 Warwick heard big Gareth rankin in wae all pooler at 3.55 approx well done Gareth top class flying..must be I the genes m8 :emoticon-0137-clapping: Pigeon racing, drink and phones dont go together. I must appologise as i reported to a couple of fanciers that i timed my fancied hen pooled to 2 fives, anyway was at a stag day out in Edinburgh (had to go) and received a text message from my ETS which is connected to a phone. Last 2 digits of the timed pigeon is 51, went to catch the hen this morning, not there, checked the loft behind every nook and crannie at 06.00 this morning, could not find her, puzzled, couldn't understand it, well not until i checked my ets clock. Stupid bugger, as i had 2 hens away with the last two digits 51. Sorry for any confusion. Timed at 15.57, had 15/23 last night with one their this morning.
hotrod Posted June 1, 2014 Report Posted June 1, 2014 I have 9/10 ,got 2 this morning , one at 04.46 and one at 06.32. First one some feathers missing , obviously Percy had a go at him .
