thanks pal ,I had 2 hospital visits last week and 3 the week before ,managed to avoid "wing mirrors" every time

another appointment within 6 weeks to determine valve type . sheep , pig , or metal .its looking like the metal one due to the diabetes . then surgery within 2 months . so finally the end is in sight .

will be the end of the year before I am fighting fit again . have a few weeks to get used to the new insulin pump now , before the heart op and long recovery

have been assured risks are minimal (1 1/2%) so that's a good thing Tam.

Ps that bird you gave me has the most character I have seen in a long time , he comes out at 10/11 at night for a drink out the bath (open hole ) and his nest is behind a board 1.5m long and he spends all day moving the eggs from one end to the other he is mental ! But there is just something about him !!!!.
