We have terrible gales and heavy rain here in the n/west of Ireland but not as bad as you lads in Scotland and the borders so can only imagine what you'se are getting weather wise. Stay safe folks and hope theres not much damage around the lofts.

Nightmare!!!

Was down the compound nearly got blown away and whilst being hit by a falling branch

Bins were all over the place at my house and a trampoline flying through the air

Neighbours trampoline in my garden, ours is in the field somewhere. Fences bust, bins everywhere.

It is not nice out there. I am glad that I no longer have to go out in it, but only when I chose to.

Maybe it will blow Alex Salmond into the North Sea :emoticon-0127-lipssealed:

I should hope not but on saying that there is more chance of that happening than the Westminster Leaders dealing with him they have no hope against his intellect nor his debating ability.

Hope you lads and lasses in Scotland are safe. Its blowing a gale here but not as strong as your having and its causing havoc down here with road and school closures due to fallen trees and roofs blowing off.

Down at the caravan just now it's sunshine, but has been rough through the night, had some of the frames which cover around the bottom of the caravan blown off, so just done a wee repair job as I have been going to renew bits for ages and never got round to it, so must get it done soon

What a day ! Greenhouse exploded and 6 panes of glass shattered in a 15ft radius round the lawn, 8ft window blown off the front of loft and entire corner house roof flashing scattered up to 50 yards away all before 08.15. went for the newspapers and the wife complained they were wet although they were tucked inside my boiler suit. Feckin soaked to the skin freezing and she complains about damp papers ! What a life.

lid blew off our septic tank, had to traipse across the moss to find the bugger.

Blue bin and it's contents strewn all over the place. A bit of picking up, but not bad at all compared to some of the stories.

Thankfully the dookits are all still in one piece
