not as much in the Winter Gardens as parts of the Winter Gardens were closed, but I believe this is for renovations,so if so better for the future, one thing I see is Blackpool streets and shops are very much improved and looking good, on the whole I still enjoyed it very well, :emoticon-0137-clapping: :emoticon-0137-clapping:

Had a great weekend apart from the hotel. We were booked into the Shanklin that was on this site then we were to go to the Albert Hotel on Albert road. We then got moved back to the Shanklin and it has to be the worst hotel we have been in. The pictures on this site are not the rooms we had, they don,t even set the table for breakfast the cutlery just left in the middle of the table. Was so bad we were on our way home at 7.30am this morning. This hotel is under new ownership now and the young lass has not got a clue about running a hotel. Apart from the hotel had a great time meeting some old and some new friends.

I went to the RPRA Presentation evening at the Tower Ballroom on the Saturday night

Duncan Norvelle was hilarious :D

I particularly liked his viagra joke :P

(it went something like this - old woman goes to the doctors with her husband, asked for some viagra 'and how old are you?' he asks '83' she replies, 'and your husband'? 'He's 92'

Well - the viagra comes in 3 strengths - 50mg - will make it 'like so' (about 4") 100mg 'like so' (about 6") and 150mg 'like so' (about 9")

'50mg is fine' she said - are you sure said the doctor - aye she said - I only want to stop him p*ssing on his slippers :P :P

First time I have been to just look at the show and enjoy for a few years as previously I have worked for Louella for the weekend, (free accommodation and free food obviously!) Most I have ever enjoyed it, got to speak to quite a lot of fanciers but having just restarted in the sport I don't know too many people directly. Handled some nice long distance pigeons at Ponderosa and also at the Kiln lofts on the Horseshoe, really nice guy Budgie is, had a cracking chat with him and came aware even more excited than before! Hope to meet up with a few people next year when I will hopefully know a few more of you guys on here and also people local to me, love the social side of the sport.
