Can he no put it on the shu website?

Can you ask Mr Turnbull BEM when he intends notifying all the Federation Secretaries and not just a chosen few which seems to be the case at the moment???

About time that website was updated, it's a bit of a shambles tbh! All this info should be posted up on there, How can you expect people to keep up to date with things or info for new starts ect into the sport without an up to date website.

I think there are a lot of questions needing asked when this is all over, Fed Secretary and I,ve had not a peep from the SHU, then there are others who get three different copies of the same email, you shouldnt need to come on to Pigeonbasics or facebook to get the updates from your Governing body. High time this committee got their act together

GROUP TRAINING IN SCOTLAND

Let me remind everyone that the rules have ONLY been relaxed to allow group training

It should be remembered that it is only short distances that we are allowed to travel. It does not allow federations to go to racepoints under the pretence of only training.

If there is any abuse of this first small relaxing of the restrictions that we have been allowed, it could seriously hamper any prospects that we have in getting racing up and running in the near future.

Please everyone, remember that we all want to get back to racing and do not do anything that will put this at risk.

Gordon Turnbull B.E.M.

President Scottish Homing Union

Yours sincerely

RPRA members in Scotland: The President, Vice Presidents and CEO will be meeting tomorrow evening to discuss guidance to facilitate racing in Scotland. This will hopefully be published on Tuesday morning. In the meantime we ask clubs to make preparations based on the guidance issued to English clubs.

GROUP TRAINING IN SCOTLAND UPDATE 1

Further to my statement yesterday about group training. It has been brought to my attention that Clubs and or Federations are organising what can only be described as unofficial races.

The First Minister clearly stated that local travel only was permitted under phase 1, not unlimited travel. Any organisation doing otherwise do so at their own risk and they should check with their vehicle insurance company before commencing on such travel.

The S.H.U. strongly advise that training be done locally.

Andy you do know that it's the pigeons going to Dunbar and not individual members?? So going by the rules of Nicoliar. Members are staying within the rules of social distancing and the 5 mile is guidance but not law.
