I used very little saw dust in later years. Just a Good dep litter. One must remember that the Bloom/ dust is rife when birds in good condirion. Sometime I'd let the birds out and spray a very fine water high up all over. Setteled the dust. Especially in days of scraping out.

They often make great distance birds if just left to laz about first year and part next year. Maybe an of chuck in good weather in December. Not far though.
