  1. Have some. Even the deep Belgium ones. was in the process of giving them to a mate who had been looking for such a long time. Wife kept them! PLant potts etc.
  2. Great news. have been inform that Jimmy is still very much with us. So glad to hear that.
  3. Lol, Jimmy believed in Cider Vinegar too. said he once went down to the loft for some to vinegar his fish and chips lol.
  4. Was without one of the best fanciers and person I ever met. I spent time with him and visited him. His knowledge and help were always spot on. I gave him some birds not long before he left us. He was pleased with them etc. I also had 6 pairs of y/b's off Jimmy. Fantastic birds. When I packed up, I took, and gave, 4 pairs to a fancier in Scotland. The others I gave away and sent then to Ireland for a decent fancier there. I, for one, and many more were very much saddened when the final days came. Like many, - in very many walks of life, - he took with him a bundle of knowledge so very far-seeing too. Yes, I have and do miss him still lots—those chats and knowledge he gave me. Yes 'Kiss' - keep it sweet and simple' was his motto. The 'E.M.B'. Too. the stories he told me! They really summed him up a treat! A grand fellow! So much I could tell, relive, but ... Great video Geordie. Very pleased to see it!

Idiots. I suppose when tired the pigeon went down and swam like a duck. Maybe swam in a dream, till drying out and taking off again lol. You couldn't make it up.

Gosh yeboah, don't give the idiots any more ideas lol. They do enough stupidity as it is lol
  8. Me! Liverpool, Arsenal and Spurs lol. Mostly Peterborough and Leicester though who I went and seen when 9 onwards. First off on own. later friends join me. Both on trains. Surprisingly, it oft worked out one was at home when the other was playing away. Liverpool, Arsenal and Spurs waas taking the sons, whom they supported.
  9. Rangers are certainly setting a good pace. Obviously better than the past few years. You, Celtic would normally be top, or very close - if not - in most years past. Think Celtic have a good manager ... Just that - Maybe - they got caught napping in not bolstering their squad, for what ever reason. I used to do both the local Rangers' and Celtic's do's / gatherings and fund raisers once. Both certainly take the game to heart and support well.
  10. I think we will have to change lib points. east route I feel will be most likely to let us go. France! Well doubt any chance there. Spain, not going to happen I believe.
  11. A lot cheaper if One takes two or more other's pigeons. Now that is a fact. But then, like I say, why should they, or need to when making a fine profit without another pleasing aspect to the 'Pigeon fraternity' eh! Yes, i do like Peter Pandy. Talks a lot of sense, and reality ... Like me lol :emoticon-0136-giggle:
  12. WHAT! and get cheaper transportation.... deprive the 'Rip Off' merchants easy money. indeed for years these so called transporters, have taken our money without any thought, whatsoever, in regards the grass roots of our so- called sport. Plus instead of the transporters being idle for many weeks in 'Race season'!
  13. A shame that Alex, But understand that it was no viable then.
  14. We here always had club races besides the channel ones on same day.
  15. Yes DJWa true. Simple law for all countries is that they have the 'Right' to protect their own borders or shore.
  16. Wouldn't expect any favours whatsoever from France. that's for sure is a certainty. Maybe will go east again. Golly new names at the top and 'Many tears from those that have had a great location. Would loved to have seen/had a race from Moscow. yes Rom was good... but too hot on the da. Good returns though overall. Then was very surprised of how many all of a sudden turned up on the 17th day. Why!
  17. Indeed give England the vote lol. Good post vagin.
  18. Unfortunately I fear that racing will be having a lot of curtails. Maybe a chance to alter and work for the next season. Rested and birds, loving the home, will stand many more fanciers in good stead I believe. i forcast there will be soon many new names at the top of the race sheets. especially the year after!
  19. Would say, those 3 clubs have time, and soon will have another club or two, so got it alone. Don't need a federation. Self transport. Oversea means just joining a National club. Soon many will; be surprised how many others will join in. Gosh, even form their own fed. Simple, and easy, and so beneficial. I know, we've done it. Just a bit of forethought. Egos controlled and 'What's best' to prevail. Soon it would be proven 'It's an ill wind that blows no good.
  20. I'm not in the room eh! So what? I'd wager that the those supposedly in charge, who supposedly are there to care for the member's interests, content to and are slipping out of responcibily1 Are defend own corner, or looking after others interests to the detriment of the club(s) /Fed per usual. Further - obviously - they ain't standing up to be counted! Yes running with the fox and the hounds. How do I know 370 miles away? Because the attitude and treatment of members is rife throughout. Plus those, or anyone that stands up and points out the 'Disorder' is boo -hooed and called. Those voted on shy away from responsibility. Blame is then passed on and - surprisingly they daren't/don't look in the mirror.
  21. Will you deliver down to Northants England :emoticon-0136-giggle: lol
  22. I, Like most it seems, don't have the slightest ideas of what is/has happened... But I'd wager it is as it has been the U.K. over for many years... well always. They have, like the vast majority, thumbed their noses at the grass roots and got away with it! No nor any interest ever than 'Fly in the air' No pun meant. As long as they cover their corners. The fodder member pay and with glib tongues have cheated, deceived and too the pee for years on end. They think every thing if for their benefit, , and quite right too! As it has been when always getting away with it, and their Way! Now the excuses will be that the Grass roots didn't, couldn't understand it was/is their fault. To be truthful it is the members fault in reality for sure. because most don't even bother to meetings, let alone vote. Voce a concern where it matters and have let them get AWAY WITH their' own 'Running as they wanted'! No good closing the traps if the birds haven't homed is it.
  23. I think that has more than a shout mate. France AND CO saying - 'Blackmailing' 'Buffoon and Muppets' see what will happen if you don't sign.plus another 60% of your Fish.
  24. Yes Georgie, it is 'Fine to disagree ... but not to be disagreeable'!

    Ballot

Later, as normal, they will be fingers pointing from the upper Hierarchy that 'YOU' had the vote and decided. Or 'we were forced to act. We took a large number of 'FANCIERS' views into consideration, and went with the higher percentage. Yes we know not all will be happy - for us doing the job you elected us to do - But then, of course you can't please every body- all the time, and many none of the time and other such drivel. Mark my words.
