Well big Dan, back with a bang lol How some don't know facts there, that's for sure. But then why does one have to go South etc.? East would certainly be a lot better option I feel if France or co spout 'With Holding'!
-
Will always get the 'Knockers' Time idling on hand in jealousy we all know. Afraid to send.... rather lose their culls weekly whilst in the loft their lofts a fortune - oft - is paid keeping the very foundation going breeding more culls. Annoying 'Joe Public' down town trying to eat their fish and chips in peace lol. Livingston was wrong saying it, but is it any wonder that his saying 'Flying Rats' still get mentioned? Would be nice if another could donate a hen for the cock bird(s). Stress free youngster then with no incest, breeding good constitutions and immunity with no Young bird sickness eh!
-
Well done Rangers. Another, very simple fact to appreciate VIA all fanciers whatever their choice of distance they wish, prefer to fly, and that it, these very races, test the metal, the abilities from which ALL good pigeons derive from, whether a 2-3 00 miler or more. So, in reality ALL should support this, and other such races etc. regardless when and how!
-
When is that then?
-
Great eastcoaster. You are a gem. Maybe a few others will follow suit. Let's hope so, eh!
-
Fantastic. Well done! Great to hear. Would love to hear a distance pair offered also. No I can't, as I don't have birds now. But would have certainly offered as such before.

I flew 3 youngsters 479 miles. The release was appalling and finished the Midland North Road National championship club. Belted down torrential rain etc. No day birds. I had two mid morning next day. Was first and second in the midland etc. Regarded as first time etc. the race was Mid September and my first back was still in the nest in June! Prince Jackson, and others ove a 100 years ago were send yearlings 1000 miles with great returns. We has - through greed/ money / jealousy and fear of losing well bred - supposedly - youngster to decimate and ruin the very basis of 'Homing ability. Too much inbreeding ruin the constitution and immunity. If you have bought at great costs 'Breeders' then the youngsters must, surely, earn a perch before any nest box. Losses are simply a way of saying 'You brought rubbish that breed culls! Yes a very large percent of fancier keep them and make excuse after excuses. Admit it, you've thrown away good money... yet still many will throw more good money after bad! Excuses. If one doesn't want to send, FINE, shut up and let those that do have 'Peace of Ear'! Stop ruining our beloved pigeons even more!
-
Well in that case they should have a lot - indeed a lot more respect for those testing, trying and enjoying the distances (to)!. Countless pigeons- at great cost - are never tested... their youngster/culls are in deed, a fact a blimp on our sport because of that!
-
When are some fancier going to be prepared to test these so-call great pigeons they've bought. Bought in to improve lol. I know they fly 2 to 300 miles home lol. P.s. cats will walk that distance home too lol if given the chance lol
-
100% right. Let those that daren't keep their peace. Indeed WHAT right do these so-called Fancier have? Why do they belittle, or spout disregards of those trying to help the sport? Think many terms could apply here. Not least jealousy and fear in their ability and they are overpriced pigeons they've bought. Those pampered and molly-coddled for fear of losing. Money lol so-called investments lol Simply put, pigeons have been tested regularly to about 30 years ago. Built the reputation and brought the best out of them! All great strains, go back to the fact that they were/are from a proven distance and had day pigeons. Let those who wish to go for a 600 miler do so, without the jealousy of those who fear. Those that breed culls year in and year out filling the churches, and town centres, with their' fodders of discards, ' should be rejected. At significant expenses too.

Obviously you are not interested. But must have squeak, be it a subtle downer eh!

Good to see. I think, personally, that the Scots are more likely to do this than in England. Be good to see it happen. The only 'Knockers' 'boo - hoo boys' will be those, the feint hearted that will have no intensions of going! their stupid excuse will be many. not counting that they will hate to see Great Merit' and deserved credit of those going. Yes the Distance crap will be flaunted. Birds ... well many stupidities and untruths will be put forward as 'Downers'. Wouldn't it just be wonderful, if only those, who've read, understand these successful challenges - being done often- of nigh 150 years were the only ones to comment. But 'skinny scare ribs' of jealousy won't allow that.... EVEN though they won't send themselves. It is one very main reason that pigeons aren't as good as they once were - TESTED! Of course they can do 600 miles. Been done- in all weathers - so very many times.

I think he gets more enjoyment listening in on 'Regards Himself' lol. Hear tale he loves the attention ... well must say 'Many times he deserves it lol. I for one wouldn't mind a jot to see him back here posting. good or bad, for a laugh or not. Enlightens good or bad. Love or hate him, you can't ignore him lol.

only shaking was Bigda's belly when shaking a fist behind c a closed door I hear lol. mind, did and do enjoy some of his comments. For their contents mostly and not the merits lol
-
I think Trump would have been better recommending it than Detergents lol. mind I think he was on about using it on his brain lol.
-
Now that is a good question One asked of 99% of most things I guess. OR should be! some say 'You pay your money, and make your choice'! I ask 'What, and why'! Logic say FIRST DON'T compare a pigeon in human terms! They are nothing alike. Indeed couldn't be more completely opposites! But that certainly isn't to say we can't do them a good service! Or can certainly help sometimes! Just to be sensible and think about it! Well that's my belief and what i think and choose to do/done.
-
Well that topic was short and sweet ... and went nowhere lol.
-
Well it is a whim of the fancier believing letting them out is needed and for the best. Was amazed in Canada, and other very successful fanciers who never let them out when the moult starts and 3 or so weeks before enticing a condition for first toss- race.
-
No, 4th or 5th. he gets fed up. Sulks when not having all his own way, or debate lol. leaves then lol...
-
Monkeys! lol. Well a lot of 'Monkeys' are winning and taking all the beating. Well yes, also, a lot of money down the drain achieving nothing too!
-
Good results Pigeon- man. Good to get to the Top, but harder to stay there. A good fancier used to say, 'Nothing you buy for your pigeons, can't be brought cheaper, and at least as good from the Supermarkets'. I believe that too!
