  1. Just seen result George, that's 3 times the Irish have come to beat him and Failed all 3 times 😎😎
  2. Gonna stick with N Twiston Davies and take Blaklion and Ballyandy as single bets and an e/w double.
  3. Racers not paired up yet so Handling well and good weight for racing. No road training will be given to those who have raced but latebreds and least experienced will get 3-4 tosses to 22mls before first race. Team are flying well too due to not being paired so 61mls for first race should not be a prob for them.
  4. Seen a horse run in December at Kempton. There were 4 horses about 10 clear at the furlong pole and out the pack this thing took wings and finished like a train. No it didnae win but I reckoned it took minimum 8 lengths out the field. Swore to bet it next time out and sure enough it won. Have bet it twice since the first win and it won both of them too. It's on a 4 timer at Kempton tomorrow night 7-10pm and am on again. Celtic Ava is its name and its 7/1 right now. Good luck
  5. Ta George 😂😂
  6. Good call, a never seen it coz am at work so dunno what happened tae The New One, anybody know ??
  7. Aye am on at 6's tae but if it drifts a automatically get the better price way bet365 online account.
  8. Am told One of the best bets in NH racing is J Jefferson in NH Flat races. He has Only Orvieto in the last race at Sedgefield the day.
  9. Another couple ay weeks for yours tae Accy but sure tae please when ye get them. ðŸ‘ðŸ‘
  10. Ave took The New One tae beat her. She was prepared for a different race but suplimented intae this race because the wan the had for it canny run. Nap for the week is El Terremoto each way in the 4.50 tomorrow. Sticking way Twiston Davies this meeting and think he has a great chance with Blaklion Wed 2.10, Ballyandy Wed 4.50 and last but no least Bristol De Mai in the 5.30 tomorrow tae. In saying all that a need tae point oot ave took many a beating at this meeting 😂😂😂
  11. Just gimme a shout Bill, won't even charge ye for ma services lololol
  12. Got 11 weaned, 6 of Ma own and 5 fae Jim Cullen. Second round been hatching out last 7-8 days and there appears to be 100% hatch so will get my planned 30-36 by the time the first race comes with some others into charity sales in April I should be split up again come May time. 😊😊
  13. Been fortunate this year so far. Birds out every weekend all day and only one injured flying into a tree after gettin a scare at the loft on Saturday. Dunno what frightened them but it was close judging by the noise they made scattering. This time last year I was losing one a week so counting Ma blessins this year. Also managed to break a couple of new recruits at the weekend so my numbers have went up instead of down. 😊😊
  14. 07519 549058 or 07793 220342 there ye are George.
  15. Percy has been in the sky everyday lately but I haven't lost any to it this year, long may it continue !!! Considered keeping them in this winter too coz I got hammered last year but glad I didn't as they are fit as F and ready to train when I see fit to start them. You guys gettin hit have my sympathy coz despite advice given its no easy to curtail Percy when it's determined.
  16. Couldn't agree more Paul. What I struggle with is it is almost always fanciers who don't attend meetings, never put a Yb in the fund raising sales we held and never turn up tae bid on the superb draught of Yb's we had got from Top Top National and Federation flyers from all over the country. They're no even trying to improve their own performances or team but would Ruin it for everyone else given half a chance. Just glad the Vast Majority of our members have a more modern and inclusive view of the sport and Lanarkshire Fed in particular these days. I agree it's been a while coming but time spent in discussion and planning will be time well spent when it's up and running correctly and as fairly as possible for everyone involved.
  17. I don't see it as a strawberry mealy, I have "proper" strawberry mealies and they do not have the blue tinge to their plummage that this one has. IMO it's just a Mealy that will have a blue'ish/slated look to it as I have had them that way too and never considered them to be called anything other than a plain Mealy.
  18. This can happen with any depth of nest Walter and has happened in my lofts many times over the years so for what it's worth I would leave their best as is. Have always thought there is a reason behind this known only to the birds but it may well just be bad luck for the one fallen/ejected from the nest. Jmo.
  19. Was gonna say it's a no brainer but Danny shot that doon tae
  20. Pretty sure I would have seen ye at the AGM if ye attended Danny but ye wirnae there. Couple of facts fae the meeting are.....Non members can put in writing convoying requests at any stage of the season so long as its in and passed Before they send. The Fed will be joint convoying for at least 3 races with other Feds who have attended the Many meetings about it. Social Circle members who are outwith the Fed radiius have been welcome on our transporters since before you could tell a Mealy fae a Blue and that will not change. this is JMO but within 10 years the Joint Convoy will be an Amalgamation and we will travel together for ALL races. One more Fact....The committee are the best Lanarkshire have had in living memory and will get my support 100% for whatever direction they see fit tae take the Fed in. I would hope that is true of the 400+ members we have... with the exception of 2, ye can work that out am sure.
  21. Cheers Bill they've been well reared and all new blood in ma loft. Fingers crossed ðŸ‘
  22. The first 6 moved.
  23. Congratulations to both, a fantastic couple the likes of them are very few :emoticon-0137-clapping:
  24. Think al apply tae Coalburn or Larky
  25. Hi Andy, Put 8 pairs of stock up with intent to take aronud 30 early bred for darkness. Brother f'd up by letting spare Ck's into breeding section and 4 nests got wrecked. Have 6 from the other 4 nests moving tonight and the wasted nests are all sitting again but reckon al need tae settle for 20/24 early bred now. Racers not paired but flying an hour per day since mid Jan with no losses to Percy (losing 1 a week last year to it before training started) so optimistic they will be well fit to pair up the week of the first race.
