A widnae have it on my conscience if i didn't postpone a meeting and someone was badly injured or even worse en route to it. The advice for huge parts of Scotland is not to travel unless absolutely necessary. Warnings are for gale force winds causing structural damage as well as risk of losing power supplies. Valid from 0600 tomorrow until 12 midday Sunday. Late in the day as it is, it should have got postponed early today.

Thanks for the good wishes lads, was a rotten birthday having to work a back shift and no getting in 'til yon time. In bed and sleeping for 10pm with not a drop of alcohol in me, on the upside i'm fresh as paint this morn and due to get up to some antics tonight.

Going to my local tonight for a sing song and a knees up. Went for the first time last year and it was a great wee night with a good buffet and select company, it'll be the same tonight and i'm Really looking forward to it. Tomorrow it's up to my wee mams for dinner with the full clan in attendance, approx 25 to 30 for food and at least the same again tomorrow night as friends drop in for a wee half and to share the festive cheer. ...........Best day of the year every year.
