Now looking forward to our presentation of prizes on 10th of October. This year it will be held in the Tannochside Miners Welfare club. Aiready looking to be a great night with plenty of places booked early. Place has been refurbished to a very high standard so comfortable surroundings too. At £7.50 a ticket i can promise a great night for all. Nae hiccups way the Buffet this year (After being advised on last years Debacle!!) as i have booked it myself, the man doing the food has a reputation second to none for the quality and amount of food he lays on. If ye fancy coming along let Me, Cammy, Jim Cullen or any of the other committee members know ASAP !!. The numbers need to be known by Monday the 6th as i need to give the Caterer a final number to feed so be on yer toes guys if you intend to come. A just love this night of the year.

Lowest point of the season was not getting a feather from the Alencon liberation, i refuse to call it a race. High point was finishing the Yb season with 21 of my 41 naturals and taking a ticket or 2 with them, and lifting a few quid from the club pools early on. (Ob's) EXTRA HIGH point was the gift bird from the Mac's this week, which if i handle properly i'm certain will produce the goods.

As a result of the above confusion i was contacted by Paul via PM inviting me to come over as he and Wullie had spoken and wanted to gift me a young Ck to make up for my disappointment. As you can see it wasn't just ANY young Ck!!! 1,000 Thank You's for the generosity, the Class just oozes out of these men, not just their pigeons. Ped's of Sire & Dam. -
Class fanciers and Class guys. Best of luck way them Colin.

My sincerest condolences to May and Liz. Davy was a great worker in the sport most notably at the SNFC Sec E marking station where he took the Cheques and stamped our entry sheets for years. A good friend who will be sorely missed. R I P Davy God Bless You. John Quinn.

Lanarkshire Federation Latebred Sale 21St September
JohnQuinn replied to a topic in Advertising Off Site Sales Board
The sale went very well today considering there were only 25 lots. Thought i had STOLE the Mac's doo ( Cracker of a Blue Ck ) but there was a man just next to me who thought the final bid was his, though it was me who had the final bid, anyway i thought the only course open to me was to let him take it as he was bidding for several doos so he took it home instead of me. -
Great wee night out with some very interesting responses from the panel on how they keep their birds. Will certainly be back, IF!! am allowed DISCLAIMER..............I would just like tae put on record am no responsible for anything i said or done after Mark gave us his song last night as i have ZERO recollection of anything after that.

Cracker of a trophy Archie, Well Done -
Sitting around 90/100, easily another 40/50 standing, which is a far greater number than attendances have been lately. Despite all the debates and idea's banded about members just don't turn up to vote Tommy. For the life of me i canny understand that but tha;s the way it is. I know there are a FEW members unable to attend due to work or health reasons but the majority CHOOSE no tae come and go along with the decisions taken by others who do attend. I would be Very surprised if it was any different around the country.
-
Can anyone help me out with a phone number for Gordon Plz. Cheers John.
-
If i was handing our £20 notes at the door we still wouldn't get a full turn out Tommy, keep it real mate. Ave never thought it right that a president votes on proposals, but will certainly use my casting vote if required.
-
Not had many calls guys, if you know someone in your club who won last year would PB members inform them the trophies are required back for engraving, TIME IS SHORT !!!
-
Would any 2013 Federation Trophy winners return them to me As Soon As Possible please. Call or text me on 07752220135, if not me personally then to any committee member and i will collect them.
-
Personally i wish the members come with good race points and not a route. There are race points that have far better records than others on both sides of the country and my wish is neither East or West is voted to hold all the races. Being the only man in the room without a vote Wishes are all i have :-/
-
Started with 41 naturals & have 19 left. 5 incomers got 4 races the rest got 6 races out to Charnock Richards. Think my loss percentage would be about average.
-
Good for you mate, you've done a great job on the floor. Wish ye well when you get racing again. Cheers John.
-
Naw i got it Del, was jist havin a laugh. Lol
