I NEVER drink and drive, not even one to make a toast if at a function. However i think this law should be based entirely on the amount of alcohol it takes to have an adverse reaction on a persons ability to drive safely. If 80mg to 100ml of blood has been enough up to now to have safe roads then it should stay at that, i refuse to believe the roads will be one bit safer as a result of this new law and am inclined to think like some others that this is a Money orientated decision.

Was in one of my clients' house yesterday when all hell broke out in the garden. Looked out and there was Percy on the drying green on top of a wee ring necked dove getting mobbed by the Magpies and Crows. Opened the door and Percy bolted leaving the poor dove laying there on the grass, after a minute or two i went to lift it and dispose of the corpse when right out the blue it jumped up and flew off at top speed. I was sure it was dead cos it hadn't moved in all the time i was watching it and no sign of breathing either, but it made ma day when it got up alive and apparently well
