  1. Aye but we aw know it's Easy doon there Stevie.....only jesting lmao Superb effort Jim ðŸ‘ðŸ‘ðŸ‘
  2. The other thread is the SNRPC race Ricky ?
  3. No me anyway Colin, maybe Andy coz he got his pooler which I imagine wid be his choice.
  4. I only ever seen congrats tae you when ye won the national. My point here is until This post you haven't mentioned congrats, that's where I am coming from....Have barred Ma self fae better places than here and changed my mind, that's my prerogative 🙂
  5. He means the usual old rickety one used by the SNFC
  6. Ye said it wisnae Racing Ricky, Ma wee doo and aw the rest raced their hearts out tae get home. Any bird doing over 400ypm has Raced according to the rules. In over 200 posts on this thread you put 2 up before today. First questioning Andy Miller because hen once said he only raced Ck's and the next was 'no disrespect' no a very positive reflection on yer fellow fanciers from ye.
  7. Ye started yer post way 'No disrespect to those who timed in' maybe no trying to be disrespectful but yer post disCredits those timed. This race was better than Littlehampton or the Messac race or half a dozen others in recent times, it's the way Most distance races are going to be in future so we all best get used tae it and give Credit where it's due.
  8. IMO the delegates have seen this as an Opportunity and took advantage of it...... & When the AGM comes around mind it's the DELEGATES who decided this NOT the Officials who Had to call this meeting due to Arras no being safe for birds or drivers. On the upside a can now have a punt in 2 races with the same birds so I get a Silver lining out of it 🌤🌤
  9. From all info available Arras is a risky area and I personally don't want to go there. What I would say is the delegates should come back with something as near as is Possible to what the AGM voted for. So Ypres it would be for me and they would go on our own transporter. Apart from anything else the drivers have availed themselves to take the Doos and like the majority of us they will need the income. IMO the obligation to them and the non SNFC Fed members should override any personal preferences. That is the only solution that meets (as near as possible) the AGM decision on this race. In saying all that and given I am not in the decision making position now, it would suit me right down to the ground to duplicate into the SNFC race. But as I said above this is Not about personal preference it's about applying the rules. Jmo.
  10. Well Done to Billy and the bird, should still make the result if predictions are correct ðŸ‘ðŸ‘ðŸ‘

    National

The SNFC inland National just before the Gold Cup attracts ppls 2nd best birds and potentials. Best birds are away just now tae Reims.... When it turns into a difficult race these birds are found wanting, but fanciers being fanciers will look tae blame somebody for poor returns instead of looking in the mirror for a Reality check.
  18. A good sale again this year. Put 2 in and hoped to take both back home but an eagle eyed member liked them both and a only got one back 😂😂 the rules of the sale are you can only buy your own back if the bird is in the pen, they didnae allow this wan :emoticon-0136-giggle:
  19. If they went last week mine woulda been ready :emoticon-0157-sun:
  20. Billy only said he has two Active clocks Derek which to me means he raced to two Lofts and has a clock in both. A spare clock is something entirely different. Ma last post on this thread, hope no one gets disqualified over this.
  21. Could have it hinged on the inside of the door Andy only putting it up when birds are due. Would need to fashion it so you can put it up or drop it from the outside but it's possible.
  22. A checked everybody's when I was on the committee and never once came across pads placed in an advantageous position.
  23. 2 clocks is illegal Billy, for all anyone knows one of your systems could be at a loft in Annan and that's why only One clock is allowed. You'll no doubt be getting a visit now you have made this public. Let me be clear, not for one minute do I think you're up tae anything BUT you are in breach of the rules. Can anyone who has a pad under a Sputnik trap say WHY it's positioned there and NOT over the threshold of the loft.
  24. Never seen a misplaced pad and a verified loadsa Doos. Am no saying anything about ppl no allowed an opinion, Rules are no about opinions they're steadfast and must be followed Exactly. Only ppl arguing the point are those who's conscience has been disturbed because their pads are in a trap. Traps are an accessory fanciers choose to use and regardless of how they are fixed to the OUTSIDE facing of a loft they're an addition not part of the loft itself.
  25. No Danny it has to be within that half inch to register the doo. Have known birds NOT timed after crossing the pad but never have I heard of any registering just because it's in the vicinity of the pad,
